Piatro started playing piano at age 5 and switched to guitar at age 9.

Curiosity led to other various instruments which included: acoustic steel string guitar (country and bluegrass), electric guitar (pop, rock, funk, jazz), 5 string banjo (bluegrass), 4 string banjo (dixieland jazz), mandolin, fiddle (bluegrass), bass guitar, and slide guitars.

Piatro studied Music Composition at Ohio State University and spent four years traveling full time throughout the eastern U.S. performing with a Las Vegas Show group headlined by a Magician. During this time he became interested in electronics and eventually he returned to school and obtained several degrees in Electrical Engineering.

Due to the constraints of a new life style and family, Piatro decided to explore music in a solo direction on the Spanish Guitar, i.e. Classical and Flamenco style guitar music.

Piatro performs at Weddings, Private parties, Corporate events, and various local Charity benefits. Upon occasion (usually winter) you'll might find him at a local 'fine' dining establishment... honing his skills and keeping the fire burning ;)
